Raw milk is rich in health promoting nutrients. Making a chocolate drink out of real wholesome ingredients just makes an already super food into an extraordinary one.
If you are vegan, you can substitute it with a clean Almond milk. You can make your own. Here is a delicious recipe. Making your own will assure you of the ingredients.
Maca is used for many reasons. I like it because it balances the body’s endocrine system to help it cope with stress. It helps to balance hormones and increase fertility. It also energizes naturally without the jitters or crashes of caffeine.
This recipe uses the immune boosting, vigor strenghtening, stress reducing properties of Ashwagandha. You don’t HAVE to have Ashwagandha or Maca to make the recipe. Those two ingredients just make it more potent.

- 2cups raw whole milkor almond milk; organic
- 1Tbsp cacao powderraw
- 1/2tsp maca powder(optional)
- 1/4Tbsp ashwagandha powderby SunPotion (optional)
- 2Tbsp grade b organic maple syrup

Place milk in a pot to warm slowly and until less than 100 degrees.

Sift cacao, maca and ashwagandha powder in the pot and mix with frother until blended evenly.

Add and mix maple syrup with the frother. I got my milk frother from World Market.
