Halloween can be such a stressful time for parents who wish to limit refined foods and sugar. Read my Healthy Halloween post  to find practical solutions to see ideas on easy, fun and actually healthy halloween treat recipes. I share practical and effective tips that I practiced when my kids were younger.

You want a fun snack for your kids that celebrates Halloween? One that is tasty and filling without feeling guilty? Try these for snacks.  They show well and do well. The bananas will give the body the energy that it needs. The tangerines will give it the glucose fix in a natural way. This way, your little ones will be less likely to be craving as much sweets.

    1. Peel the bananas. Cut them in half and place the cut side down so the banana halves stand up. Use small chocolate chips to make ghost eyes and large chocolate chips to make ghost mouths.
    2. Peel tangerines carefully without bruising them. Cut the celery lengthwise and then cut them across into 1/2 inch pieces. Insert celery pieces to tops of the peeled tangerines.
    3. Display them as you wish
    4. Take a picture really quick because they'll be devoured real quick
