Egg nestled in crisp turkey bacon with basil makes this a delicious high protein breakfast.
This breakfast can bring you the protein you need to keep you full throughout the morning and be delicious at the same time. Eating protein-filled foods help with keeping you fuller long.
Egg in crispy turkey bacon cup

Ingredients
- 4slices turkey baconorganic Applegate
- 4 eggsorganic pasture raised
- real saltto taste
- pepperto taste
- 1/2teaspoon extra virgin organic coconut oilmelted
- fresh basil leavesscallion or cilantro, optional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Lightly coat 4 muffin cups (I use silicon cups or Ramekin) with coconut oil.

Fit 1 slice of turkey bacon into each muffin cup (bacon will hang over edges of cups).

Crack 1 egg into each cup.

Bake in middle of oven until whites are cooked but yolks are still runny, about 13 minutes.

Season eggs with salt and pepper and remove cups carefully.

Sprinkle with chopped basil, scallions or parsley.
